Abby saw a similar gown in a magazine. With a few changes, Nilah created the gown with a special feature — using Abby's family jewelry and beads, the hand beaded collar would be detached after the wedding and framed with her invitation for a special wedding memento.

Something Borrowed
Martha brought us an ivory and gold beaded lace dress. We used the lace to make the bodice and created the skirt from duchess silk satin with a petal shaped back. The skirt is edged in Swarovski crystals and pearls and reveals a gold shimmer organza train to create this stunning strapless wedding gown.

Something Blue
Inspired by the 1950's, Lindy wanted to wear a wedding dress that would compliment her individual style. Nilah created a strapless powder blue satin dress with an ivory lace overlay. A short, shoulder length wedding veil of ivory tulle completes her look.

Old Hollywood Glamour Wedding Gown
Sarah wanted a wedding dress reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. By using a vintage gown and lace slip Sarah had, Nilah changed the neckline, adjusted the fit, added sheer organza shoulder straps with vintage crystal jewel clasps to create the desired look. The delicate lace slip was transformed into a cropped jacket for the finishing touch.

Added Embellishments Wedding Gown
Rachel, our bride shown, worked with Nilah to take a plain ivory silk satin strapless A-line wedding dress and add her personal style — from Swarovski crystal butterflies and crystal pleated organza fans with delicate wisps of ostrich feathers and a crystal studded waistband. Gold and Cream Sari
Our bride Aarti wanted to keep in the family traditions of a sari with an American twist. Here ivory crepe back satin was embellished with a mix of gold lame fabric and ribbon trims, finished off with gold crystal button closures down the back of the halter top.

Couture Wedding Gown
Sheri fell in love with the style of this couture gown. Having gone to the trunk show, the price tag was out of her budget. With some changes, Nilah was able to recreate the gown adding some special touches — like the crystal embellished waist train and still keep within Sheri's budget.

All in the family
Kiersten wanted to use her grandmother's wedding gown. Together with Nilah, she created the dress of her dreams. The top half of the wedding gown is is an all new lace bodice. The bottom skirt was from her grandmother's gown done in a permanent French style bustle with crystal pleating added to the hem, accented with vintage rhinestone pins. Her bridal party, which Nilah created, is in keeping with Kiersten's color and design theme.
