For the Love of Pearls and Lace Gown

For this gown, Nilah took the client's existing dress of pale blue gray lace and removed the long sleeves. Nilah also changed the neckline, lined the dress in a ivory silk chiffon and created slits on the side of the gown to create a soft fluidness for dancing. From the clients collection of genuine cultured pearl necklaces, Nilah restrung them to create five rows of pearl trim around the neckline and sleeves. Two crystal butterfly pins accentuate this gown.
